The rufous-capped babbler (''Stachyridopsis ruficeps'') is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. Ranging across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, it is endemic to Bhutan, Hong Kong, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
